The PalmPilot is a pen-based handheld organizer, offering basic features
such as a calendar, datebook, phonebook, and calculator. While not
particularly robust, it serves as a handy, 'just-the-facts' carry-on.
Its usefulness under emulation is sketchy, but it's certainly fun to
tinker with.

The Palm OS Emulator is an enhanced version of Copilot; it supports many Palm OS ROM versions and is actually codeveloped by Palm Inc. It is also Carbonized for Mac OS X. You can download the necessary ROMs from the home page.

Zilot is a full-featured Pilot emulator. It supports double-sized mode and saves the Pilot memory. Also, emulation speed is very fast (several times faster than a real Pilot).

This is an accurate simulation of the Pilot handheld. Graffiti handwriting recognition via the mouse is supported, and it even supports the PalmPilot Professional (ROM Version 2) to a limited extent. This emulator, although previously shareware, has now become freeware.
