This isn't strictly emulation related, but I've just released a new game called Skittles 2! It's a cool action-puzzle game with some pretty amazing special effects. If you've been looking for a fun new Macintosh game, please download the demo!
MacMAME has been updated to version 0.36b11! This version adds support for several awesome new titles, such as Pole Position. (Unfortunately, Pong is broken in this build.)
RealPC and SoftWindows have both been updated to support Mac OS 9.
MacTX, a Memotech MTX emulator, has been updated to version 0.91b! Emulation has improved, and now double-sized video is supported.
This isn't exactly an emulator, but you can play a Java version of the Donkey Kong handheld game online.
MacMAME has been updated to version 0.36b10b! This version fixes a Mac OS 9 incompatibility, which makes it much more stable than previous versions. It also supports the undisputed king of classic games, Pong!
GeoMAME has received an update to version 0.36b10 as well, and also benefits from MacMAME's improved stability.
A new MTX512 emulator is currently in development. Although it's still in very preliminary stages, it can run the BASIC interpreter.
An Amstrad CPC emulator, CPC++, has an update that is in beta testing. If you are interested in testing beta version 1.6.0 of this emulator, please contact Brice Rive for details.
An updater for MagiCMac 6.1.4 was made available; however, it may be in German only.
Magic Engine, a new TurboGrafx-16 emulator for the Macintosh, should be available for download on December 15! This emulator promises to have excellent compatibility and support CD-ROM based games, a first for TurboGrafx emulation.
