MacMAME has been updated to version 0.36b7! This version adds even more arcade ROMs to the impressive list of titles that can be emulated.

SNES9X has been updated to version 1.2.6b. This fixes compatibility problems with Mac OS 8.1 and below, and includes optimizations to RAVE Mode.

An update to ThePI, a new Playstation emulator, should be coming soon; the author promises "thousands of bug fixes." No word yet as to whether it will be able to play any commercial titles.

MESS, a multi-emulator for computers and consoles, has been updated to version 0.36b6. Although the list of compatible systems is mind-boggling, many users report that this build is very unstable.

MacSloMo, a multi-emulator written in BASIC, has been updated to version 0.67.






SNES9X has been updated to version 1.2.6a! This version fixes crashing problems under older versions of the Mac OS, and adds some cool features like a framerate counter. Unfortunately, Super Mario Kart isn't working properly in this version.

Stella has been updated to version 1.1.1! This version fixes the buggy control problems that many users experienced, and no longer requires Mac OS 8.5.

MacMAME has been updated to version 0.36b6; as usual, it supports several new arcade games.

GeoMAME has been updated to version 1.1b1. This version uses a newer MAME core for increased compatibility.

The ROM Info bundle has been updated to version 1.3.1. This bundle of fourteen separate ROM Info applications can now identify even more ROMs from a variety of systems, and fixes several bugs.

MacBochs has been updated to version 991012. This version supports Pentium-class opcodes, and fixes some emulation bugs.
