Hu6280 has been updated to version 1.8.9v3. This update adds InputSprocket support, as well as the ability to resume a game after pausing.
Richard Bannister's ROM Info tools have been updated to 1.2b5. These betas are only available to registered users.
Power64 has been updated to version 2.4! The changes incorporated into this update are too numerous to list here, so head over to the Power64 homepage and check them out!
I apologize for the incredibly long time between updates to emulation.net. My work schedule has made it difficult to find time to write regular updates, but I'll do my best to ensure that emulation.net will be updated frequently in the future.
MacMAME has been updated to version 0.35rc1! This version corrects a variety of emulation bugs. Since this version is a release candidate, MacMAME 0.35 final will most likely be released in week or two.
NeoMAME PPC is a version of MacMAME which is optimized solely for Neo-Geo games. It features 16-bit graphics, improved speed for many games, and a much smaller file size than the full version of MacMAME.
DGen has been updated to version 1.0.9d! This version is even faster than before. Future versions promise improved scrolling, save-RAM support and better compatibility.
The author of GenEm is considering bringing the project back to life. He's asking for donations to spur his interest in the project. If you enjoyed GenEm, it's certainly a worthy cause.
Blue Label has received update 4; this version has improved Blue Label's overall stability for many users. It also adds an improved floppy drive emulator which apparently supports disk images.
Power PC Engine has been updated to version 0.4b1. This version should be a bit faster than before.
Arnold/MacOS 1.0.1 has been updated to version 1.0.1. This version fixes several bugs, as well as providing speed enhancements.
Registered users of Richard Bannister's ROM Info tools can download version 1.2b4; this update includes more thorough lists of ROMs.
NEShots, an emulator front-end, has been updated to version 2.1.
DGen has been updated to version 1.0.9b. This version is noticably faster than previous versions and fixes a few bugs.
Graybox, a Nintendo emulator, has been updated to version 0.3.
Generator, a Genesis emulator, has been updated to version 0.03a. This version fixes a bug which would cause crashes if you tried to play Sonic 3.
Frodo/MacOS, a Commodore 64 emulator, has been updated to version 4.1.8! This version seems to be a fairly major update--it includes support for Navigation Services, InputSprocket and fixes interface problems.
True Reality, a Nintendo 64 emulator, has made some amazing improvements in the last few weeks! It is getting very close to being playable. Screenshots are currently available; while far from perfect, it's still wonderful to see this emulator make progress so quickly. (Note that this version has not been released yet; the currently available version does not support any commercial games at this time.)
The downloadable source code for freeMSX has been updated; however, the application is still at the same version as before.
