Virtual PC has been updated to version 5.0.4. This version includes performance improvements, long filename support, password protection, and miscellaneous bug fixes.

SIDPlay, a Commodore 64 sound player, has been updated to version 3.0. This version is a major update and now requires Mac OS X 10.1.

gnuboy, a Gameboy emulator for Mac OS X, has been added to emulation.net. [news contributed by Lucas Newman]

As loyal readers have noticed, emulation.net recently suffered a month-long period with no updates. The root of the problem was database server troubles, but due to a crunch period at my work, I was left with no spare time to fix the database problems. The good news is that my current project has reached Golden Master, so I had a bit of free time to set up a brand new database server. This new server seems to be on its feet and working well. Thanks for your patience during this outage.
